HSW.ORG focuses on improving health outcomes through changes in the funding, organizational structure and management of health sectors including public and non-state components.

Within this context, the HSW.ORG work programme is evolving within two broad themes:

  1. what works and what shows promise at country level for improving health sector performance and what can be learned from comparative studies
  2. how the structure and operations of international aid and technical support agencies can be improved.
